CJ Foods has been operating in the United States since 1978 and currently enjoys its position as a major, distributor of Korean food products to many markets nationwide. CJ Foods utilizes experience and a network established over 30 years. Headquartered in Commerce, California, CJF focuses on promoting Korean food culture by introducing CJ products to American households. Hetban and Bulgogi seasonings, which garnered early praise from consumers, were just the beginning. CJF now offers a wide range of food products, fully satisfying consumers' needs for nutrition, convenience and great taste.

CJ is rapidly expanding into the U.S. food market. It acquired the U.S.-based, Asian food company, Annie Chun´s Inc., in 2005, followed by another merger with the frozen food company, Omni Food Inc., in 2006. These mergers enabled CJ to produce and sell various processed food products in U.S. supermarkets. CJF is proud of its role in spreading Korean food appreciation around the globe and will continue to pursue our goal of becoming the "No. 1 Korean food wholesale and distribution company in America."

The acquisition of natural food manufacturer Annie Chun´s Inc. in 2005 was strategic for making inroads into the food manufacturing business in the United States.

Annie Chun founded Annie Chun´s Gourmet Foods in 1992. Her goal was to deliver healthy, authentic Asian foods to Western consumers, and to make Asian cooking "as easy to prepare as spaghetti" for Americans. Many of her products are based on traditional recipes that have been part of her family for generations. In 1997 Annie moved beyond Asian sauces, introducing the first line of specialty Asian pastas produced in the United States. Her award-winning products are now distributed throughout North America and in some parts of Europe.

Annie Chun´s is committed to bringing you and your family healthy, convenient, gourmet-quality meals to support your busy lifestyle.

CJ acquired frozen food maker Omni in 2006, enabling the local production of dumplings, noodles, frozen and packaged boiled rice, and processed meat products. Rather than exporting or relying on OEM, this helped CJ expand its business base in the United States.

Omni Foods has been creating great tasting potstickers for more than 25 years. It all began in a small shop in Kalihi, Hawaii, in 1981. Originally servicing local plate lunch restaurants and specialty Asian markets, the popularity of these ono (delicious) appetizers quickly outgrew the capacity of the small factory. Omni now has a 17,000 square-foot, USDA-approved facility in Paramount, California, and a 20,000 square-foot, noodle-making facility in Southgate, California. Not forgetting their Hawaiian roots, the brand was named Ohana House (Ohana is the Hawaiian word for family). Ohana House products are made with the highest quality ingredients, and go through strict quality control standards.
